Ajune's latest offerings include a trio of Ayurvedic treatments designed by Sundari, Christy Turlingon's product line and spa. And while the services' names are unwieldy, the pleasures of the all-over indulgences are simple; a fragrant scrub, dreamlike relaxation and blessedly buttery skin. Galina, the aesthetician, began by deftly slathering my entire body with a potent blend of gotu, grapeseed and carrot-seed oils. The thick concoction, which had a heady scent of clove, dripped from my fingers and collected in my belly button, softening and warming my dermis before the main event: Galina's firm and steady application of the walnut scrub, which looked and felt like used coffee grounds. After a thorough rinsing, my skin was silky for days.
